"The mission of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority is to develop in women a social consciousness and a commitment to think and act for the greater good. We assure continuous development and achievement for women through individual attention and smart strategic growth."
Delta Phi Epsilon International Sorority

Delta Phi Epsilon was founded on March 17, 1917 at New York University Law School. It was the first sorority to be founded at a professional school and was one of the first non-sectarian, social sororities. Five years after its founding on March 17, 1922, Delta Phi Epsilon was formally incorporated under the laws of the State of New York. That same year, DPhiE went international and the first Canadian chapter was installed at McGill University in Montreal on December 5, 1922.

Today, Delta Phi Epsilon has chapters across the United States, as well as Canada, and continues to promote sisterhood and high standards of excellence among college students.

DPhiE - Beta Psi Chapter

The Beta Psi Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon was founded on February 11, 1996 and was chartered on November 23, 1997. Since then we have grown and developed into a sisterhood in which members support each other, are socially aware and engaged in the community, and excel in academics and personal growth, while still having fun, of course.

As of Spring 2010, our chapter consists of 47 active and 5 inactive sisters. These ladies are not only committed to the sorority but are also distinguished students and active, dedicated members of the community and of their university. Our sisterhood currently includes Brandeis and Presidential Scholars, Fellows, dance captains, TAs, CAs, athletes, and club & organization leaders, just to name a few.
